| Amazon.com Best Price Guarantee
Does anyone know if amazon has a best price guarantee on items recently purchased. (will they refund the difference if the item is found somewhere else cheaper within a time frame)? Thank You Pat |

I doubt they do. Amazon.com tends to be a bit overpriced.

I bought a book a Amazon for $39.00. A week later it was listed on the Amazon site for $31.00. I emailed CS and asked for a credit for the difference, and they agreed to give it to me. Always ask for what you want...you have a better chance of getting it.

Yes, I would definitely ask! The worst that can happen is they say no. The same thing happened to me at Barnes & Noble - the price was lowered by almost $10 a few days after I placed an order and they credited me the difference without hesitation.

Thank you everyone - I mailed Amazon about a Le Creuset pot which dropped by $10 a week after I bought it and they promptly replied that I will get credited for the amount
