HELP!!! Need girls 7/8 lavender flower girl dress!!!

HELP!!!!! My daughter is the flower girl in a wedding that is two weeks from Thursday (yes, it's on a Thursday!) and we still haven't found a dress for her!! I don't want to have to spend a fortune and have been keeping a close eye on ebay, but so far, NO LUCK!!! I'm looking for a size 7/8 (girls, not teens) lilac/violet/lavender dress that's not too gawdy (some of those pageant dresses look more like pastel Christmas trees!). Of course, the department stores are into the fall stuff now, so there's no pastel purples in sight! Any suggestions of where I might find something online?? MANY MANY thanks in advance for your input!!!!

Hooray!!! I did it!!! I found the PERFECT dress on ebay this morning and it's on its way!!! Thanks for your responses and positive thoughts....every bit helps!!

Go to your local prom dress/tuxedo rental place and see if they have dresses for rent.

When I got married, I was in graduate school. Three of my friends stood up with me and I didn't want them to have to fork over money for a dress, so we rented them at the tux shop. They altered them for us too.

If you go J.C. Penney's site there is a very pretty dressy dress in lilac for girls. Good luck in your search.

Thanks to you both for your responses. I'm certainly tempted to go the rental route, although I'm certain there's a bargain to be had here online...if only I can find it!

About the dress at JC Penney....I saw that one earlier today and thought it was PERFECT. But, I called my local store (right across the street from my office) to see if there was a way to expedite my order. Lo and behold, the lady typed the item number into the computer and it came up as discontinued!!! I haven't given up hope yet though!
