Rolling eyes

I have been looking all over for this nail polish, it is extremely shiny and resembles chrome (hence the name) but it is not available in any stores near me, nor can I find it on the internet...except at auctions and people are charging unbelievable prices for the stuff because it is in such high demand. If anyone has seen any online stores that sell it, or if any stores nearby have it for a reasonable price...please let me know.
Thank you!

This probably won't be much help, but I bought some at Kmart when it first came out. It was like 3-something a bottle, but I remember reading an ad for it and it said "limited time only", so you might not be able to get it in stores anymore. But, if I find anymore, I'll be sure to let you know!!!!

Thank you guys so much for the help, it is indeed impossible to find. I've been writing Sally Hansen and all I get are automated responses and the only thing I've really learned from them is that since the item is so popular they are making it a permanent product from now on. So IF you do find some, please let me know, I would be willing to pay for both the product and shipping.
Thanks again.

Not a problem. Perhaps you could let me know if there is any particular color you want. That way, if I do find it I can go ahead and pick it up then let you know I got it. I will keep my eyes open, though!!

I just came home from our local K-mart and the only thing I could find was a Sally Hansen Purple Metalworks Frost.

Monkee (or anyone else lucky enough to find it) I am looking for "pure" which is the silver, "jade", and "amethyst" currently...any of the colors are fine though..except the gold and copper, I'm not big on those. Thank you ever so much...and I wish you complete luck in finding it.

Here is a little info..........

I had been looking for it also, and emailed them a while back about it, here is the response:

Dear Consumer:

Thank you for your inquiry regarding the new Sally Hansen Chrome Nail Make-Up.
The popularity of this new product has been so great that unfortunately it is
selling out of stores much faster than we anticipated. However, the good news
is that most stores such as Walgreens, Brooks, HE Butt, CVS and Target now carry
this as a permanent line.

Within the next several weeks the original nine shades will become more readily
available. Also, at the end of August we will be introducing six new shades;
Royal Purple, Black Pearl, Aquamarine, Gold, Moonstone and Carnelian!

I just wanted to thank everyone who was helping me look for this nail polish and let you know that the search is over...I FINALLY FOUND IT. Seems that my fiance in NJ is a bit ahead of the times, atleast compared to NC, go figure. Anyways, thanks again for your help, I'm off to paint my nails!

That is funny. I have been searching everywhere for it too and no luck. So if anybody sees it around the Memphis area, please post. I am a nailpolish addict.
Thanks

I'm in Cincinnati and all the sale papers today are advertising the Chrome nail polish - so I guess it's been rereleased - it should be everywhere soon.

Hi, I was just reading this post and just wanted to give my opinion. I bought the copper chrome polish and it started to peel off the first time I put my hands in water, it was coming off in giant pieces. Although I'm sure it works great if you have artificial nails, just not on natural nails. In fact I sent a letter to sally hansen about how I was dissappointed -but I never got an answer back. Oh well JMHO.

Big grin

I haven't had any problems with this product so far...infact, I LOVE IT! I have had it on my toes for 3 days now and no peeling or chipping, and it's shiny...just what I've been looking for. I don't know about extended periods of water with my fingernails, I normally just use clear polish on them...but in the shower it's great.
