Anyone have any Spiegel Codes?

What type of problems are you having with their CS department? I've only ordered from them once and had no problems but would like to now in advance if there are difficulties in returning/exchanging items for whatever reasons.

Well, remember the code that was posted some time back for like $20 off with no limit (or something like that), I guess heads started rolling at Speigel over that screw-up and countless orders were cancelled. I know of a few people that used legitimate cc (not fatshoe) and gc's and still had their orders cancelled. When some of them called to find out the status of their order or why it was cancelled, they only got really nasty attitudes from the customer service department and some got pretty rude emails.

You will see toward the thread where problems began, and I read even worse at other sites.....some people had experiences with the customer service dept. that bordered on verbal abuse. This attitude at Speigel lasted for quite a while after this incident - especially when dealing with online customers. That is why I take my business elsewhere - that is just too many examles of bad business. But things may have changed now that things have had a chance to cool off.
