Free Credit Report

Does anyone know where I can get a credit report for free and DH says something about a FICO Number.........I don't even know what that is.......some kind of a rating or something like that. I know there are a few offers around but am not sure if they give you the FICO number.....anyone know anything about this?

TRW is the biggest credit reporting service. They should have a website I would think. I believe you are entitled to a free credit report every year. IF you are turned down for credit they have to tell you where they got the info and supply you with the contact to get a free report. The FIFO # your DH is talking about is probably the credit score. That's how a lot of companies decide how much of a risk someone is.

Saw this in my local newspaper, NOT FREE, but in case you cannot find any for free maybe you could use.
