before bidding make sure to call first the restaurant or other business to ask if they are still accepting city spree gc if they do go ahead it is always a good deal.

DH's b-day is in 2 weeks so I got 2 GCs for hotels in Charleston. One was $100 to a new Embassy Suites which I got the room for $129 AND we get 2 tickets to Charleston' new aquarium with the room. I'm from Charleston and we are going to go eat good seafood and I haven't seen the new aquarium. The other was $50 to a Hampton Inn and I paid $69 for that room.

I paid $15 for the $100 GC and $5 for the $50 so we get 2 nights plus the two tickets for just $50 extra- not bad!

I have bid on and won several restaurant coupons which were honored with no problem. I have read that it is a good idea to call the place first to ascertain their policy regarding the coupons. Actually, it wouldn't be a bad idea to do it before you bid. Anyway, my experience has been uniformly positive. Sorry, have no idea about promo codes for them.

i won 25 gcs for the parrot lounge, lulu's bait shack and sloppy joe's, all on the ft lauderdale beach within a few blocks of each other. (we're going there on sat., leaving for cruise on sunday). so $75 worth of food and beverage for 17.50! can't beat that for an afternoon on the ocean!! (anybody ever been to these places?)
