Where is the best place online to buy a cordless phone with an answering machine and caller ID?

Thanks, in advance, for your help!

i really like [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now] ... it depends on what you are wanting, of course.

i recommend the toshiba 1800. it does NOT have an answering machine but it is a 2.4 Ghz cordless phone WITH caller ID. it retails for $170 but has been going for only $39 + shipping. it's under consumer electronics/telephones.

Thanks! I will check out uBid for them. I really do need one with an answering machine, though.

here's a 2.4 Ghz phone with caller ID AND an answering machine, [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now]^[Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now]

it's $160 but you can get 5% back through Ebates.com. something to consider would be to get a 2.4 Ghz phone at UBid and buy an answering machine separately. trust me, if you use a 2.4 Ghz phone you will NEVER go back to 900 Mhz. the clarity is outstanding.

Overstock has TWO Uniden models that are both around $100. caller ID, 2.4 Ghz, and answering machine included.

Chatter box Sales site

I use the site [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now] This site also gives you sales in the area and also free things that you can get at no cost with rebate. You just have to wait on the check to arrive.

Well! FINALLY! I made a decision! I don't think I've ever checked anything out more thoroughly in my life! LOL! And thank you everyone, for your help!!

After looking on epinions.com, and Googling for all kinds of info on all kinds of phones, then narrowing the phones down to two, then shopping for the best deal on them..........

TA-DA! I chose the Uniden TRU-248, which sells for $107 at Overstock.com (and only $3.95 shipping). I got a $20 coupon off my first purchase, plus I had $50 in Webcertificates that I had gotten from MyPoints, AND I went through eBates (3% rebate). WHEW!!

Now, I just hope I like the phone................
