| A word of advice given by a new college freshman -- make sure her dorm (if she's living in one) will allow for a microwave. I know a lot of the ones at Radford Univ. in VA will not. I wouldn't recommend getting a used one. They can have small cracks in the door's rubber lining and can leak radiation -- which causes such things as... brain damage... I'm not trying to get you scared or anything, it's just a word of caution, because it does happen.

| I agree madClikr I am the queen of yard sales and thift shops but i would never ever buy a microwave from one. This is dangerous at least. And in our local trading post used microwaves range for $30 to 50 thats no deal to me The microwave we bought at lowes was 28 something and with tax around $30 thats the best deal I have seen been looking for about a year. |
