Chiku- Vegas is one of the cheapest places to go because there are so many packages available. I would start with your newspaper for hotel/air packages. You can also visit airline websites for online deals on airfare, but the packages seem really cheap to me. There's always priceline.com, too. I haven't been there myself, but DH has and we are planning on going soon too just because I always see unbelievable deals. I'm sure others can help out more. |

SmarterLiving.com is a good site to look for deals. Don't know what your timeframe is for the trip but I would sign up for their travel newsletter which comes once a week and is very good about alerting you to various airline deals, etc. If you go to expedia.com or travelocity.com and look for a flight from your area to Vegas you can get a good idea of which airlines usually have the best buys for your route. Then sign up for those airline's e-savers to keep you updated. If Southwest Airlines flies out of your area they may be the cheapest and I don't think they show up under Expedia and Travelocity so you will need to check their website directly (Southwestairlines.com), and you guessed it, sign up for their weekly specials. We have gotten some incredible deals with Southwest. They rate very highly in the customer service polls and have never had a fatality so their safety record is very good. The Smarter Living website has deals on hotels as well though I usually book my hotel room directly through the chains'website so I don't have any experience using their links. Good luck and have a great time! PS - At the Expedia website using the Fare Calendar option will give you listings of cheaper fares for specific time periods if your dates are flexible. |

Tasker109...That Freemont Street exhibit is worthing seeing. I suggest taking the bus that run up and down the strip to get there as it is much easier than trying to park. Also, thought you might like to know that I enjoyed my stay at the Excaliber so I'm sure you will too! Make sure you take in the Dinner Show there as it is well worth the money!!! Oh and don't forget to turn in your comps for free buffets and you will have more gambling money left that way |

Thanks dear friends.. Would be leaving from Austin (TX) to phoenix first ( to see the grand canyon) then drive down to las vegas. would be leaving at last week of june. right now I am getting $140 pp/rt to phoenix through priceline.com.. is it good ? Thanks again... |

you'll be able to find a low hotel rate in vegas in june, but since you are not going directly to vegas, you won't be able to get a "package" deal. that'll cost you a lot more as opposed to going straight to vegas. the cheapest airfare i've found is for $173 RT from austin to phoenix. that includes ALL fees and charges. as for a car rental, i suggest you check out [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now] depending on how many days you have the vehicle will dictate which deal to go with. if you sent me your "specifics" for the trip, i could give you a good estimate as far as your travel expenses go. i'd be happy to do that if you simply asked me to and sent me your trip info via email ![]() [Only registered and activated users can see links. Egghead.com has vacation packages 3 nights for $99 a person. For a $79 more a person you can upgrade to Mandalay which is a fantastic hotel. [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now] |

The link still works for me but try this. It will show you all the packages that are available. go to [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now] select autions in upper right Select Cruises & Vacations from menu on the left Select Vacation Packages from menu on the left US and Canada packages are on the second page The Las vegas package is listed as "in stock" so it is not an auction even though you need to go through auction menu to find it. |
