Anyone ever Sell anyhting on ebay

Hi everyone,

i was hoping to sell some of my things on ebay , i have a couple things i want to get rid of a vcr, a palm pilit still in case, but was curious to see weather anyone has ever gone throught the procces,,i still dont understand how to price it ,and if it doesnt reach to how much i want can i refuse that offer, if anyone has info one ebay please post how you experince was or email [Only registered and activated users can see links. What you might do is lookup auctions that have the same items as you are wanting to sell. (kinda check out what they are going for and what you might expect to get out of your item.)
If there is an item you want to get a certain amount out of you can set a reserve, so you dont have to sell it for less than the amount.
Be very truthful in your ad, the more details about your item the better and pictures are definately good.
Check shipping rates ahead of time before you state a set price so you dont end up eating shipping charges by not pricing it high enough......or you can list it as buyer pays actual shipping charges.

I have sold a few things on ebay and had good luck, just be sure you recieve payment before shipping items out and the basic stuff like that

Hello! Over the past month and a half I've been on an Ebay selling "binge"! I went through my house and found all kinds of things to sell, plus my parents gave me a few things they wanted out of their house. I always search for the item first to get an estimate of what it's selling for. The same goes for the shipping cost. I borrowed a digital camera to post pictures of my sale items, that always helps them sell. To answer your question about refusing an offer, NO YOU CAN'T. You agree to sell to the highest bidder and if you don't, you'll get negative feedback. You can put a "reserve price" on the item, meaning if it doesn't reach that price, you don't have to sell it. I've been selling on ebay for 5 years now. If you prepare for it, it can be fun and make you some money.

Besides the good advice here to do research on similar items, also read all their tutorials on ebay - read both the buying and selling ones. And if you still have questions, they have chat forums, similar to here, where people can help you out.
