vellux blanket

my daughter's *soft & cuddly* twin vellux blanket is slooooooowly disintergrating after many, many years of use. apparently, i'm looking during the "wrong" season, cos i can't seem to find any for a decent($20-25) price. (tho i found a BRIGHT purple one at kohl's - no way she would go for that!! lol)
