Question

Looking for a credit card with a low APR and cash back incentive. The best I have found is a Discover with 14.99 and pays 1% back. Know of any better? Thanks for the help.

i have to make a suggestion that you should re-think doing these kinds of cards. i don't think that this is such a great deal. i think that the c.c. companies are playing a joke on the consumers. even with a c.c. that pays 3% cash back, you would need to spend $1000.00 to get $30.00 back, and I think (here's another catch...) they give you the "cash back" as a credit on your credit card. in the meantime, you are scrambling around trying to find change in your couch to pay back the $1000.00 which is now, $1100 (if you're lucky) and continues to rise. Your kids are hungry, and you can't pay your electricity bill. But wait, that's right, you get your $30 back in 12 MONTHS. Oh, whew, I almost forgot about that $30.00.

Sorry about the sarcasim, I hate credit cards and c.c. companines, and I can't wait to get mine all paid off!!!

I use mine strictly for my jewelry business and charged 8000 last year that is now paid down to nothing. I can't resist the cash back incentive since I am charging on it regardless. If you use it alot then it is worth it but not if you can't get a good APR. I found a couple good ones on eyeoncredit.com that I am going to check into.

Cool

You can always do the discover card.
It always sends me a check back each year.
I use it to travel and for gas and pay it off at the end of each month.
After a year, it still adds up...

as mentioned in other forum, how about tj maxx card? you get a $15.00 gift certificate for signing up, then 5% back on all tjmaxx and marshall's purchases (and there are lots of great buys at these stores if there are some near you), and 1% back on everything else. your rewards come in the form of $15 gift certificates for these stores (so, on 2nd thought, you NEED to have one in the vicinity). but the good thing is, since that's a relatively small amount, i get one or two a month. no waiting for 2 years to amass enough points to redeem for a reward. sorry, i don't know apr, because i pay it off every month. but their csr's have been great in the event of a lost check (as in "i pay it off every month and am thus requesting you remove these late and finance charges, please", to the response of, "okay."!!) i've been using almost solely for years and am very happy with!
