Are the time share's 90min. tour really worth the savings?

I've found some great deals on hotels, theme parks if you take the 30 min tours that are offered everywhere in Orlando. Are they really thirty minutes- or do they try to get them to go on forever. If you say NO do they get really nasty? Are the deals legit? Thanks.

We just did this this weekend in Nashville. Was supposed to be a 90 min tour but ended up a little over 2 hours but the guy was new and very nice so it wasn't bad. All the others touring had already left so others went faster. When we said no that was it, no pressure. It was a great weekend getaway for us and very cheap too!

LOL....I have done these a number of times and they are great! I can talk to people with real ease.....so it was asy! They do not pressure you and once it was so awesome that the person who was sent to talk to us initially asked us whether we were interested in the property and I told that we are not and guess what......he said that we coudl have breakfast and take the tickets and go! In less than half an hour! So, basically it depends on whom you have to tackle!!! But they are not bad and very worth the time!

**** NO. I went to Cabo San Lucas and got stuck on one. Gave me tons of freebies, food, beer, etc. I came home to find you can buy these Time shares for 1/3 of what you would buy them for. Save your time and dont go to the presentation.

& make sure you have transportation from there!
my parents went to one in the carribean, & told they guide that they were really not interested afterwards (they didn't care for the location, etc). the 'guide' became verrrrrrrry nasty, & wouldn't allow them to use a phone (yes, they offered to pay for the call) to call a cab. they wound up roaming the streets, at night, looking for a payphone.

My parents did this once and they felt it was worth their time. They asked the person when they signed up what would happen if they said no because they were pretty sure they wouldn't buy it. The guy said they only sell to 10% or fewer of the people that do it. The biggest problem for them is they liked it and had a hard time NOT going for it. Also, remember your income must be high enough to afford it. They probably won't even want you if you don't make enough $$....

There are always going to be sales people who can't take no for an answer...Just be prepared.

If you're hard to convince & assertive & just going there for the deal, might be worth it for free food/cheap tickets.
