Unhappy

I was out shopping the other and received aphone call from my hubby...the vaccuum roller had melted and no longer works !!! We just bought this 1 year ago and it has already been fixed before !! ( Dirt Devil Swivel Glide ) I am looking for a bagless kind or a stick vac will do until I can find a cheap nice one.
Any deals out there at a home store or anyplace that sells vaccuums???? Thanks !!!!

I suggest Target, my fave store
Best Buy would be another option

We bought a Hoover about 6 months ago for a great price...

also you might want to check out [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now] to compare online e-tailers' vacuum prices if you chose to buy online

Thanks....fast reply !!!! I am looking at mysimon now..never tried it before. We don't have a target or best buy here in the great northern New York !! I have looked at their websites but the shipping is so high, I guess I'll start digging around the internet for coupons. Thanks again !!

If you do look at best buy...they have a four year warranty plan that they will just replace your vacuum with a new one if you have any problems which is a really good plan and not that expensive in my opinion.
the fantum vacuums are nice they are bagless and have a hepa filter

Hey I used to live in Georgia !! Savannah....we lived there from 1995-1998, now we live in Watertown NY....about 1 hour north of Syracuse. I am from Michigan though.....LOL...thats military life !!!

Yes we do have a walmart and kmart !!! After we dig ourselves out of the 4th major snowstorm this season I'll check them out. I wanted something delivered fast, Sears has free shipping and 2-3 day delivery so I will probably go with them. They have a Eureka upright with a free hand vac for $79.99....that will do until I can really spend time shopping for one.

Thanks for everyones help !!!

just a suggestion:
you may want to look at the hoover bagless vac's. we bought ours about 6 months ago from price club for $279 (there's a few diff models), when our expensive less-than-2yo panasonic starting smoking AGAIN - SHEESH! saves a lot on the cost of bags, & has rec'd excellent ratings. (i vac at least once a day - 2 dogs & 3 cats - so a reliable brand was important. & it has the strongest suction i've seen).
i've seen them advertised at lots of B&M stores - target, macy's, etc.
i can't verify right now if they carry them, but also try ourhouse, buy.com, amazon, etc. there's a few coupon codes (some 1st time customer) for each.
good luck!

don't you miss the GA weather?
my relatives in albany got 3 feet of snow a couple of days ago! march is a weird month here in GA, everyone gets sick cuz of the rapid temp changes, one day it'll be like summer weather in the 60s and the next it'll be in the 40s
