Walmart poulty mark down days?

Hi,
Can someone tell me if walmart has certain days that they mark down the poultry. How many days prior to the "sale by this date" do they mark it down. What tips do you use to catch those deals. I got a great rate of chicken breast one day because they had marked then down, then I had a $1 coupon on top of that.
