I need to buy a car seat for a 4 yr old that accomodates a child up to 60 or 80 pounds (for long term use).And I don't want to spend very much

I bought the Eddie Bauer High Back booster for my 3-yr old. They range in price from $65-80. I bought mine at the (now defunct) babygear.com.

I compared prices at all the baby websites, and they were all pretty similar, but some (like e-style) charged an extra premium for shipping an oversized package ($10). I bought from babygear because I had a 15% off code and shipping was a flat $5.

Thanks for your reply. That is one that I was looking at,but I read that some customers complained about the straps twisting.Is that true? Can it be dealt with? My son doesn't go to daycare so he's not in and out of the car every day.Does it work well with the seat belts? That is always a complaint too.(That seat is on sale at babycenter.com right now)

You may want the call the Children's Miracle Network in your area because I bought a carseat (new) through them and it was really reasonable. They also had the larger booster seats.
