Hello Fellow DOD'ers I need your help. I am leaving for Florida (Orlando) on Jan 6 and desperately need to find a good deal on a rental car. I am in college so I don't have tons of money to spend. My boyfriend would be theone driving the rental car but b/c he is only 23 most places have a ridiculous extra charge. I really need to find a great base rate with coupons/discounts. PLEASE HELP !!! |

Budget rent a car has a ford ranger truck for 19.95 a day, unlimited mileage.... if you don't want the truck that is good, because they usually do a switch at the rental counter.(At least they did on us and a friend who also signed up for the truck...we actually wanted the truck...but, the price could't be beat. |

If you want to go the priceline route go to [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now] Go down to the section on rental cars. Lots of tips on how and how much to bid, on hotels, rental cars, and airline tickets. Several postings of $15 per day sucessful bids on rental cars. This site has saved me several dollars. I've got a 5 night stay upcoming at Quality Inn in Kissimmee, Florida for $10 per night, thanks to info I found there. |

I use [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or

There are a ton of paper coupons out there for rental cars. You can find them practically anywhere. But I find most of them to be useless. A promo code always has to be given at time of reservation which usually jacks the price up to compensate for the coupon. So, just book online and be happy! Good luck. |
