Looking at the Garmin Forerunner 305 GPS Personal Trainer

Hello,

I'm looking for a reliable GPS device for driving around in Guadalajara, Mexico. Can anyone provide me with some suggestions? I currently have the Mio 310x and they don't have a map for Mexico and I have already sent a request to the Mio-tech website for assistance. I have searched for some third party maps, but I didn't find any.

I was looking at the Garmin Forerunner 305 GPS Personal Trainer - 010-00467-00. Any comments on the usability on this one? I believe that the map is about 191.95 dollars on -------------------. The only person who rated this map gave it 1 star.

I was also looking at the Garmins and the nt v2 map of Mexico. It seems pretty decent, but it costs around 200 bucks. Does anyone have experience with this map?

I don't have advice about a good GPS system to use but I beleive the garmin forerunners are not GPS devices that will give you directions. I believe they are more for athletes to track how far they have gone, how fast and to map out their route. I don't think that is what you are looking for.
