in need please help

hi i am michelle.i am 22.if anyone live in mobile al and has some clothes they dont want anymore i would be glad to take them.i moved here and most of my clothes were lost.please help if you can.

Hi Michelle,
Sorry to hear about your clothes. That's awful. I don't live in Alabama, but I do live in a small town (in Connecticut), and our town and lots of the towns around us have free clothing rooms. Lots of the things in ours are brand new. Check if you can, with your Town or City Hall or Human Services where you've moved to. They'll usually know about where these things are.
Also, lots of churches around here are doing the same thing ~ times are tough. You could ask around or call different churches and see if they have something like this, or if one doesn't, they may know who does.
There's another place online you can try. It's freecycle and everything on it is free and it covers all the states, so you'd look up Alabama and then Mobile and see what comes up. All you'd have to do is pick them up. Hope that helps a little bit........

Contact Freecycle in Mobile Alabama. Most Freecycle members are very generous and happy to help. I know in Phoenix, your first post has to be an offer of something, then you can post a need, but it might be different for your Freecycle.

There may be a clothing bank in your town... check with the human resource department of your town.
