exception to p2p downloading

hi everyone, i'm looking for an alternative to programs like kazaa and limewire to download music. a friend referred me to rhapsody.com/freemusic. supposedly rhapsody is free and legal, and the quality of the music is really clear. has anyone tried it or have any suggestions?

I don't think rhapsody is totally free and too the music you get from them will more than likely be protected content, but i think you can get free downloads from itunes via codes from pepsi caps. I would get
Limewire Pro if it were me. Pro version has absolutely no pop ups and it will tell you if the file being downloaded is corrupt and ask you if you wish to continue download which is nice, because kazaa will give you crap and viruses.

Rhapsody 25 is the free version but limits you to 25 streams a month. I have the subscription service so I get unlimited downloads as well as a broader selection of ad free radio stations. They have great quality when it comes to their music and they have over a million songs to choose from. I also get a newsletter from them that gives me info on the latest music to come out. This would be a great way to try it out before buying it.
