I'm looking to buy a decent digital camera and have the $150 MCI money to spend. Does anyone remember if they had an "after Christmas" sale last year at Amazon? Or is it better to get stuff now (while there's free shipping)? I'm looking at the Olympus line (I have a print Olympus camera now and love it). Anyone have suggestions? Thanks!

I did a lot of research for this Christmas on digital cameras. I knew I wanted to get my boyfriend a nice one at a reasonable cost. He isn't an expert so I found that the Olympus D-360L had gotten a lot of good reviews at Amazon, was for beginners and intermediates, and was very well priced for cameras in it's category. I suggest this one, even though he hasn't opened it yet, I'm hoping he will love it. You might want to check a place called [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or

I have owned the Olympus D360L that the above poster mentioned, I sold this one and upgraded. It really is a great camera, but no USB hookup, so it's a little slow. I would check out the Fuji FINEPIX 1300, it's $234.94 and it does have a USB hookup, that is if you computer is USB enabled. It is a fairly new camera, as it is replacing the MX-1200, so I don't know if has many reviews out there. I have seen it on QVC several times for much more, and their demo made the camera look really nice. But if you are interested in the Olympus, you won't be disappointed. Just make sure to get rechargeable batteries |

I just bought the Fuji Finepix 1400 after a lot of research. For the price, I don't think you can get a better camera. The usb connection and 3x OPTICAL Zoom are two feature you don't find at this price. The lens has a cover to protect it from scratches and the battery life isn't that bad. Check out the reviews at: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or
