OK, I've been waiting for this cat and mouse game with ATT and MCI and it has just happened. MCI upped my rate from 10 cent a minute to 15 cent a minute without telling me. So, when I saw in a recent post that you could switch to ATT and get a $50 giftcertificate from giftcertificate.com(I think this is who) I did it. I got it in a couple of days. Well, just about 10 minutes ago, MCI came calling, and offered me a even better rate plus 5000 frequent flyer miles on Delta, which I've been needing. So, play your cards right and ASK what benefit/freebies they have to offer. The funny thing is, we don't make very many long distance calls because my husband uses his cellphone all the time to call long distance(it's part of his plan, which his company pays for) Now, I wonder if ATT will call back trying to get me back??? Good luck

Thanks all, but I am looking to change companies and hopefully get some bucks out of the deal. I am stuck with ATT and Sprint and I donot make too many long distance calls so I do not care for rates. Anyone know anyplace where I can get $50 or $100 or something like that or some giftcerts just for switching long distance companies? |

If you want to save on your phone bills in the long run, check out the link below. There are several plans that the rates are below 5 cents a minute, 6 second or 30 second billing. A plan I am using now is IPhoneBill ( TRUE COST 6 second on line billing, your bills will be $0 if you don't make any long distance calls for the month. It works great for me. My phone bills for June, July and August were $0 because I didn't make any calls for those months. )[Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or

Here is a link to the offer for a $50 giftcertificate for at&t and you get it really fast too. I think you get 120 minutes free the first month also. http://www.att.com/tracking/spec_offers/spec_offers_signup.cgi?portal=giftc ert50_5eve&bannerid=S351 |
