Question

Anyone know here I can get just the Little People that come with the house, barn, bus, garage, etc. Grandbaby loves them but they keep disappearing!

Thanks Unconditional! Where did you get this info? My daughter went to the Fisher Price site and didn't find any info on how to purchase anything.

The small peg-like Little People were discontinued a number of years ago, because they were thought to be a choking hazard. The toys that FP currently calls "Little People" are nothing like them, they have molded clothes and are very chunky. There was an in-between version of Little People that were also peg-like, but chunkier than the originals. The slim peg-like Little People are now considered to be collectors items. If you are lucky, you can find them in thrift shops or at garage sales. The old Little People playsets go for quite a lot on ebay. You may be able get some of the people through auctions at a decent price if you aren't too picky about condition. HTH!

I kind of had to scour the fisherprice.com site I don't remember where exactly. I was just bored and had some time to look.
As for the older little people by fisher price yes they are hard to find and there are some sites that specialise in them and they are expensive. I doubt very much that the poster here is looking to complete an OLD set. More than likely she has a little tyke like mine who's three that lost the Farmer-Dude off the current sets and they don't sell that EXACT little person in the individual sets of the current line.

Thanks again Unconditional. You're right....I need the new version but if I see any old ones at garage sales guess you know I'll snatch those up and it's Hello ebay!!! You'd think that FP would have figured out by now that the little kids these are intended for will lose them and cranked out a ton of extras while they were at it. Sounds like a real money maker to me but what do moms and grandmas know, right?!!!! Go figure!

Check ebay as well for the older stuff. They have TONS of little people. Sometimes they go for more than you'd expect because they are collectors' items though. Just an idea.
