need a good deal on bedding

help. We are trying to be as frugal as possible in making our new house homey. I really want to do my girls bedrooms up really nice. My oldest daughters room is going to be first, she got a lot of really cute room decorations for her birthday and I used some coupons and got a great deal on some precious fabric for curtains. My hubby is taking care of paint and shelving, all that is left is bedding. She has never had a really nice comfortor or quilt set for her bed. I am looking for used, (in great condition) or new, nice but reasonably priced quilt / comfortor, pillow sham, blankets, sheet sets in butterflies and flowers with bright, bold popping colors.

I will also need bedding for my youngest daughters room. It will be a little while before we get to her room but if I can find a good deal for her I will jump on it. She is the "princess" It has to be all pink and purple, ruffles and frills for her, I would like to get one of those hoops with the sheer fabric to hang down over her bed or a pattern to make one. I saw a really pretty one at, I think it was Lillian Vernon, but I am not sure- it was perfect but way too expensive.

Any help on this would be GREATLY appreciated!

If you have a Target nearby, keep checking for their clearance on quilt sets. I saw one there was marked down to $30 that was originally $100. I thought Lillian Vernon was way too much as well. Ebay has some great deals on new stuff...even buy it now deals. I guess it depends on what the fabric for her curtains looks like.

Like I said though, keep looking around because many of the stores have those quilt sets similar to Pottery Barn and the more expensive stores now. You never know what you can find on clearance!

Thank you so much, I love the princess set at overstock. I cannot get Sarah's justy yet so I will hold off on the coupon code for now if anyone else wants to use it. I have checked ebay for everything else, I don't know why I have not looked there yet for bedding. I want to get Ashley's bedding in the next few weeks, Sarah's will have to wait for her birthday at the end of March.
The closest Target for me is about two hours away. I hate driving and won't drive that far unless I absolutely have to. I keep checking Walmart but the selection here is so limited.

Oh, thank you! I used to get the Domestications catalog but I had forgotten all about it. I will go and request one now! Ifthey have good sales that will be a good thing. I remember them having some bedding I liked but I had NO money when I used to get those catalogs.
I did not expect it but my princessliked the whole China Doll set from Domestications better than any set that I have showed her so far! I like it too. It is different and very pretty.

Wow, that China Doll set is gorgeous! I ended up getting a quilt set on ebay..I will let you know how it is when we get it (it was used, but not very much)!! It's
kind of hard to tell what it looks like from the pictures.
