roller skates?

I am looking to purchase ONLINE only: Skecher Roller Skates, size 8 women's.

The Skecher.com site does not have what I want and I think I was at the Sport's Authority site and did not see anything of interest.

Any other reliable, online trustworthy retailers?

P.S. Am looking for Sketcher's ONLY, do not want a different brand.

Just a note of interest. If you're a serious outdoor rollerskater - don't buy Sketchers. I was told that at Sport's Authority and they did have a lot of them in stock. They are slow. I know you want Sketchers... just a head's up for what it's worth.

I ended up buying from Ike's RollerSkate Warehouse online and got Marble Roads.

Yes, I had mentioned that in my original message above. I went to their site, I didn't mention the specifics, but they only had one type of roller skate and I didn't like it. All the other 4 or 5 styles they had were not listed anymore, perhaps sold out?

That is why I am asking for a reliable website that sells sketcher roller skates in a women's size 8.

How slow is slow? I don't want to go superfast, just medium so I can skate while my dog trots or speed walks next to me

What was your experience with Skecher skates like????


I don't think our town has a Sport's Authority...... Possibly will be going to Atlanta this weekend, maybe I'll check there....

I never bought or was on skechers skates. The workers at Sports Authority told me they suck. lol

well thanks for their honest advice, my friend has a pair and i will ask her how she likes them... i guess i could see how they "suck" seeing as how they are just a sneaker with roller skate bottoms on their, perhaps the concept just isn't the best idea?
