 Looking for airline deals
I am flying from Newark NJ to Miami Fl at the end of April. I have tried Orbitz, cheaptickets.com, Hotwire etc. Even tried Priceline, but they wanted me to fly out of NYC, and I can't do that. Even AAA was too pricey. My Mom got tickets 3 weeks ago to Miami for $150 round trip. She went to American Airlines website, but now the prices are much higher. Since I am flying off-season, do you think the price will come down, if I wait? Considering all the security stuff going on now, do you think the price will continue to rise? I just had the same problem...I'm going in april to cal. from boston, one day the tickets were 220. next they went to 300...I did all the orbitz, expedia, etc and then decided which flight i wanted and then went to the airline itself and purchased the ticket......so this is what i did....looked at the flights, determined which was better for me, (connections, layovers etc) found out which airlines it was then called in my case Delta......Got the ticket for the 220. that i started out with....It worked for me, and I hope it works for you.......IMHO, I don't think orbitz, expedia or any of them are offering me a deal....Matter of fact, when i called orbitz, their customer service was verry rude.....
