Pricegrabber gives a lowest shipped price of about $205 for full version for Windows. Can anyone do better? I have looked around and so far nothing, but then software isn't my thing.

Have you tried pricewatch.com?

If you are a student or educator you can get a copy for less than $100. You can get a liscense (no CD) for $125, if you can find a copy of the actual software elsewhere. I don't know if it can be downloaded from Adobe's site or not.

That's just from a quick search of adobe acrobat 5.0 on pricewatch.com.

Try an alternate printer driver. When I was on internship, we used the trial version of FinePrint. That company also offers more upscale packages. Address is [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now]

Now, if you had a Mac, all you'd have to do is click "Preview" in the print dialog box and choose "Save as PDF" and you wouldn't have to worry
