The best deals I have found have always been on hotwire.com. If you're in a program like blink or netflip, you can also receive a small rebate on the fare. Good luck!

I just bought a ticket last week through expedia.com and they were up to $600 cheaper than everywhere else I looked (even for the exact same flight!) I looked for about a month before I bought so I checked everyone out.
