wanted: Hoover FloorMate

I'm looking for some help finding a good deal on a Hoover FloorMate vaccum cleaner. In all of the stores that I've searched it is listed as $179.00. I would appreciate any suggestions in finding any coupons or discounts!! Thanks bunches!

I did some checking for you...with not much success. You are correct that everyone seems to be selling this for the same $179.00 - must be a pricing conspiracy or something??? I am guessing that these are selling well, so no one is lowering the price - why give them away, eh??? I did find that even WalMart is asking $178.XX for them, so you may have a hard time finding this any cheaper. Sams Club (online, samsclub.com) is showing them for $169.98 - link below:

I haven't noticed if they are in the Sam's Club retail stores as of yet - maybe they are? I know that shipping from samsclub.com is notoriously expensive and slow (and purchases usually taxed)!

The question may be - how badly do you want this? If you can wait a few months - getting closer to Thanksgiving/Christmas, you may find a special or two on this - maybe the initial sales surge will die down and they will begin to "promo" this item soon? I did a lot of searching for better prices on the Floormate and ebay was even selling them for more than retail. I bit the bullet and paid 179.00 (something I know we ALL rarely do - pay full price). But------- I have to say it is worth EVERY penny. It is THE best appliance I have ever bought. I will NEVER NEVER NEVER mop a floor or get down on my hands and knees again. This thing works GREAT!! So at least I don't feel as bad having to pay full price. Sometimes it's worth it!
