Rolling eyes Is the mail running slow...or is it just New Jersey?

Okay...here's the thing, is the mail running insanely slow for some reason I don't know about, or is it just me? I ordered something off ebay, that was supposedly shipped last Saturday (I want to believe the seller) but I haven't seen it. My Old Navy order was shipped on Monday, still not here. It took my Dave Matthews cd 4 days to get here from DE, and I got a letter from the next county over today, that was mailed on Monday. What is it, anyone else experiencing this, or know of a reason?

Must just be where you live. If you like, I'll trade mailmen with you. We sometimes get our neighbors mail, it's like having Cliff Claven from the Cheers TV show delivering our mail (LOL). We never know what we'll get! Hope your package shows up soon!

Post Mail is always slow here, at the end of the world.

Takes a normal letter from back home 4-5 days to get here.
Pony Express would be faster.

If you think New Jersey is bad...

I work in the mailroom here at Luther. We've got 2 buildings we deliver to, besides the campus center. Sometimes, if I'm feeling generous, I'll sort through campus mail to see if anything stays in that building. Only one building really does that. I figure, if they're too lazy to walk 50 feet from their office to the next, then the recipient can WAIT until the next run.

The other day, my workmate was doing that building's run. In the campus mail in one office, he found an envelope from one faculty member to another. The sad thing about that one - the peoples' offices were NEXT DOOR TO EACH OTHER!! Unbelievable...

Had a quick thought about the faculty members next door thingy. Sometimes official mail needs to be sent through the P.O. needs to have a postmark on the envelope for various reasons? Makes it legal or whatever...
