| The "Black Thunder" is back!
I got my computer, which I have affectionately named "Black Thunder" is back from the shop. A couple of weeks ago, we had a lightning strike in the neighborhood, and it took out my NIC. Siince it was only a few months old, I still had the manufacturers warranty. I contacted HP, and they sent me a shipping container and the prepaid mailing documents. I sent it back to California, and they repaired it and shipped it back in 8 days. Everything works great on it.
Usually, its a nightmare getting warranty work done on a computer, so I end up fixing it myself.
Thus, I am officially delcaring my support for Hewlett-Packard computers.
