What is the wildest color or craziest thing you've done to your fingernails?

For me it was painting them black. Only problem, was trying to get the color off afterwards. I almost had to keep my black nails.

In Junior High our school colors was purple and white. We found the white nail polish , but couldn't find the right shade of purple, so...in art class, we made our own...hehe..got caught too!!

In High School, some of us did ours black and the black lipstick too...ugh!!! how did I ever do something like that? glad there is no photos around!!

Ok... This is not me and not my fingernails. But I think its pretty wild.
My 9 year old daughter got bright pinkish purplish streaks in her hair.
They were suppose to be permanent but they washed out in about 2 weeks. She is getting them redone this weekend.

I have just about every color you can name and I have worn it all at some point. With all of the gardening etc..I no longer have my claws...they have all broken to about "active" length..UGH! I do the nail art also..I really like the Christmas motiff...never have had the professional artwork done, but I will some day when I can grow these all over again, for the zillionth time..LOL!

When I was in high school a group of us were dared to file our nails to a point. We did and painted them bright blue. Needless to say my parents at that time about killed me and I had to cut them after that stunt! lol

I used to bite my nails, but then I started painting them, and they started to grow. Guess when they were painted I tried to act more lady like, so I didn't break them off. Trust me, I have to work on being lady like, I lived on a mini farm most of my life and yes I had a brother, but he didn't like to do farm things, so I helped Dad most of the time. Anyway, I think I've worn just about every color, also. I just painted mine today, Tropical Orchid....a light purple. I've had stripes, polka dots, wavy lines, each nail a different color, you name it, I've done it.
Daizy, my dog, hates when I paint them, she barks at me the whole time, and until they quit smelling as much.

I just got into nail art, not professionally done, stuff I do myself. I bought those decals you stick on your nails and put clear polish over them. Right now I have a red flower on each of my thumb nails. People seem to like them. It's me making a statement I guess you'd say, my summertime nails.

At Easter I had different colored easter eggs on each of my fingers with a hot pink background professionally done. I also like to get the polish that changes colors when they are hot or cold. I do them myself some but like the pampering of getting them done professionally and I love my nail tech.

i do mine in rams colors for games. ill be doing them that way when we go to macomb so maybe ill take a picture of them before we leave and post it here......i do them half and half from base to tip in blue and white and then i have this gold accent paint that i do a stripe down the middle. i wish i could find darker blue though. the shade i have is more like their old uniforms.

In high school there were a couple people who called me the fingernail polish queen. Not a day went by for three and half years where I didn't have my nails polished. I did them in about every color you can think of. I would often have each nail (including my toenails) a different color. For holidays they would always be the holiday colors. I never did much nail art, never sure why.
Now I only were polish on my toenails. My finger nails looked so bad after those three and half years that I never wear polish on them anymore. The polish weakened them and they would break all the time. Now they're nice and long.
