Smile High School Friends getting in touch....

I just received an e-mail from one of my closest and dearest guy friends from high school. I was shocked! I haven't seen him in forever. It was so nice to hear from him and hear about his life now. He has come a long way. He invited hubby and me to come visit him and his wife sometime. Now if I can get hubby to go! lol Hubby knows from stories (and yearbook notes) that this guy and I were very close friends...we got into some crazy things as teens! Nothing bad.....get your minds out of the gutters!!

Do you ever keep up with your high school friends? If so, is the friendship the same or not?

I have several that live here in town and we still talk and get together but it's not like it was in high school. I think it is due to everyone growing up and calming down. Know?

But I would LOVE to recapture some of the moments and fun I had in high school. Wouldn't you?!

How neat!

Through classmates.com I just recently got in touch with my best guy friend from school. We had lockers next to eachother starting in 7th grade, and stayed friends all through highschool, but hadn't talked since graduation.

We e-mail back and forth, but since DH and I have a "no friends of the opposite sex" agreement, we wouldn't go hang out or anything.

I also had a few close guy friends that were never officially boyfriends. I just got along better with guys my whole life!

It's nice getting in touch with old friends. But sometimes you find out that once you run out of "memories" to talk about, there's nothing left in common!

Well, I have been in touch on and off with several of my good friends from highschool (in PA) through various online sites. I also chat with several in IM/Yahoo as well.

My 15th reunion was last September and that got me hooked up with even more of my "party buds" from those days. I speak to them on and off via email regularly.

One of them even lives in Atlanta now. I get together with him during football season to watch Penn State games from time to time. Only thing is, he's still kind of the same jerk he always was, lol!

I don't keep in touch with high school friends, guess we've grown apart, gone our separate ways. The only one to E-mail from high school this year was my first boyfriend. He wasn't in any of my classes 'though, is younger than me. But, it was really nice to hear from him, catch up on things, what he is doing now in his life, reminisce down memory lane. We still E-mail each other every now and then, guess you could say he's like a penpal.

Just remember, husbands can be jealous even 'though they are the one who married you so you might have a problem getting him to go visit your ex-male friend with you. You'll have to reassure your husband, treat him like a king, give him lots of affection, make sure he knows he's still #1. Know what I mean?

Anyway, I think that is so neat hearing from someone from the past. It is always nice when a person you were friends with or truly cared about, hasn't forgotten you.
