Hi Folks, I really love this forum! However, I often don't receive freebies I've signed up for. I'm wondering if its because I sometimes use my PO Box... although I never do this if it states specifically not to on the site. Wondering what percentage of freebies you guys actually receive and if some sites just might be incredibly slow at sending things out?? |

I seem to get quite a bit of free stuff that I sign up for.. but got much better results when I first began doing this in November. Oh well.. some are better then none. As for your PO Box.. not sure. I have a physical mailing address (street address).. I would think the only time you should be having trouble is when the page actually says that they don't deliver to P.O. Boxes and so-on. ------------------ Feel free to e-mail me with questions or problems: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Good question! Actually there was a thread about this same topic a few months back. I'd say I get about hmmmmmmmm... 50-60% of what I register for. One of the best things about freebies to me is forgetting that you signed up for something, then you get it! I get so excited about my freebies, that I drive home from the office just to see how many parcels are at my door. Isn't that rediculous!! I'm addicted. And, a big thank you to all the great folks that make so many contributions to this board!!! Ryan ------------------ email: [Only registered and activated users can see links. I would "guess-timate" that I receive about 80 percent of the freebies I sign up for. It is so cool to come home and have more freebies than bills in the mail! And I agree that the best freebies are the ones you have forgotten about sending for. Or the ones you get that are full size when you thought it would just be a sample.

I would say that I get about 90% of my freebies. Today was a good day. I got my free space.com t-shirt, the free chocolate caramels and the rice krispie treat snack pack. An especially yummy day.

Thanks for the answers, guys. I also sometimes forget about some freebies and then to my surprise they show up... I suppose I really oughta' keep a log of what I've signed up for... If anyone can remember, what is the longest you've ever waited for a freebie to show up? |

I'd say I get about 90%. I agree with one of the posts above though, mousepads NEVER show up. Well I did get one mouse pad from beauty jungle but it was in a pack of a whole assortment of freebies, and it was a TINY mousepad, cute though. The longest I ever waited for a freebie was probably 6 months. About a month ago I got a bartles and james t shirt that I signed up for way back last year, I had forgotten all about it. I too wish I had started a log of all my freebies, to show all the skeptics at work who don't beleive this free stuff is out there. One guy keeps telling me there has to be a catch, like promising my firstborn child or something, lol. I tried to tell him that basically the catch is that they get your name for marketing junk mail purposes but he just does'nt get it. ------------------ |

I guess about 90%! I never get the mousepads either. The longest I have waited was about 5 months and I had forgotten that I even tried to get it. The worst freebie I got was a piece of cake or something wrapped in Saran wrap with no identification on it!(Threw that away) Besides the kitchen etc. peeler and stuff that we just got, One of my favorites was a large pet food bin from Pro-plan dog food, it holds about 50lbs of dog food, and it was a complete surprise, they always send me great samples of there stuff.(I think I just signed up at their site and I get a package a month from them). ------------------ DealofDay.com Save Money, Have Fun Tami [Only registered and activated users can see links. Its taken 5 or 6 months sometimes? Well, that's good to know; maybe I'll still get some of the stuff I haven't gotten yet! So far the hands down winners for quickness are Arrid and the StartSampling website. Has anyone ever actually gotten money promised for filling out a survey? I'm thinking its going to be a cold day in you-know-where b4 that ever comes. |

I just got $10 from a Proctor and Gamble survey, and I get smaller amounts from other sites usually $2 bills! ------------------ DealofDay.com Save Money, Have Fun Tami [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now] |
