I need some hair advice

Our engagement photo is in a week and a half and I need some hair advice!

I have been growing it out long for about a year now and it is a bit uneven. My bangs go down below my chin and the longest part of my hair in the back is a few inches past my shoulders.

I want to even it out and cut the split ends off but leave enough lenghth to do something with at the wedding and even the engagement photo.

Anyone have any suggestions? What should I have done??

Thanks for the advice!

PS.. it has to be long enough to be a girl cut... Gil hates short hair

3tbear is welcome here
I had my hair long for my wedding.

Not sure of the look you want but here are my suggestions:

Look #1: If your hair is long, and you like a romantic look for your wedding, how about using those heated rollers, but not rolling your hair all the way to the head, just winding the hair to make loose soft wavy curls, then lightly spraying with hairspray to hold the look. Basically you would just curl the ends and maybe an inch or two up from the ends. Do you know what I mean? I'm not good at explaining this.

Look #2: Sweep hair up from the back, have touseled curls at the top. A hairdresser would be able to do that. You have a bit of time to try it, to see if you would like it.

Another idea, buy one of those hairstyle magazines. My local grocery store carries them. I always see styles in those that I like, but my hairdresser can't do many of the styles on me 'cause I have that baby fine hair, but there are always one or two styles I can have done so the magazine is worth buying.
