Rolling eyes Thongs on the beach, pro or con?

This was several years ago, but there was a girl in a thong bathing suit at a popular beach nearby, it had pieces of fabric attached on each side in the back to cover the rear, but it was slightly windy the day I was there and, well...you get the picture.
I think they'd be OK in a secluded spot somewhere.

Do you think you would be for or against them, would you let your daughter or son (LOL) wear one?

Nope there are some things I just don't wanna see

And if my daughters EVER tried to wear them while they're still under MY roof....(and I knew about it which I probably wouldn't anyway, they're sneaky..) I would certainly lock them up in their rooms! But they're both too shy, (right now at least) so I don't think it's an issue at this moment. That certainly could change!

I don't have anything against thong bathing suit and even against going to the beach topless. But I am from Europe, the life is different there.

Well I had one when I was 20 and I fell asleep on our dock one day. Needless to say when I awoke an hour later, there were several motor boats circling out in front of my dock, lol.

I have not had one since and I don't really like them that much (constant wedgie), but I have no opinion on whether someone wears one or not. However, I don't care to see one on a child younger than 18.

well since they dont cover anything, whats the point of wearing one at all......they certainly arent modest in any respect and they sure arent comfortable. i vote for a nice well designed one piece suit.

Personally think they are pretty gross and they look very uncomfortable.
I also prefer a well-designed one-piece suit that looks good and is comfortable for all kinds of activities, not just strutting around showing off the "goods"

Some more of that "granny dressing", huh? Did you get sunburned when you fell asleep?

Personally I do not care for the thong, and would look terrible in one. I am sure no one wants to see my-- um--my "assets".

Yep, it was the worst sunburn I ever had too, laff. Hurt to sit down for 2 days! My suits now would be considered "granny" by a teen's ridgid standards As I said I was 20 (I am 34) and I didn't wear it around lots of people (I had reg suits for that), I just wore it for tanning mainly.

You know I think I'll keep to myself on this one. I'm sure anyone who's been reading the other clothing thread knows how I feel anyway, and I really don't want to start that debate all over again - why have the same debate in two threads. :-)

Hey, I say it doesn't matter, cuz some people who wear the full suits or just a bikini, shouldn't being wearing those either!! It's all worth a laugh or two on a hot day!!!!!!

Agrees wholeheartedly, lol.

Reminds me of a trip last summer. I sware I saw more obease women in string bikinis (I didn't realize they made suits that big) and skanky men covered with tatoos in one day than I have in my whole life combined. And Scott and I were laughing hysterically about it. It was so bad that it seemed almost like a funky dream.

For the record.......My DD don't own one of these LOL. She says she has a ghetto booty and no way would she wear one out in public.

I personally think letting your butt hang out for the whole world to see, especially if it's uh um large.....is kinda gross, but different strokes for different folks
