Am I still the only one who thinks a "deal wanted" section would be incredibly useful and helpful to this community, more so than the inactive "Deal of Day Giveaway" or a few of the other forums that get little or no posting action? Not that I find fault with Merchant's Mouth in any way, but it seems that there are *far* more "help me find a deal on -----" posts in this forum than merchants stopping by to promote a deal. I don't think in the last 5 months I have come across a single post from a merchant. While we would get a bunch of 1-time posters in the Deal Wanted section, if people stopped by to post they may just look around and decide to get active in the community. Which means more freebies and deals for all of us. Community wise, it would give us a chance to help out others by seeing what people were looking for and maybe mentioning a deal we noticed somewhere- retail OR online- of that particular thing. All "any ---- codes?" posts could also be placed in that forum. Again, just an opinion. Still haven't had my tea (so much for sleeping in on a Saturday!) g ------------------ [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now] - aol im tallie1974 |

Gingerblue, The site is not up until next month sometime. What i've read elsewhere from others emailing the company. The certificates will be distributed closer to the opening time. some have had trouble loging into old site even after registering for new site. But again e-mails others have posted have said that that shouldn't be a problem and that the gift certificates will be coming. |

Actually, a bunch of us had our registrations deleted. I believe datgrlstef wrote Best Buy and they confirmed that they had no record of her at all. But again, I have seen far more "deal wanted" posts than merchant posts. I just don't understand the logic of this community sometimes. But alas, I am grateful for it. anyway... g |
