| Any plant experts out there? I have a question
My son gave me a pot of Impations three years ago on Mother's Day. I kept it indoors, and it bloomed with beautiful flowers for two years. I watered it alot, and I kept it in the sun. My husband put up miniblinds on the kitchen window a year ago, and all of a sudden, no more flowers. The plant is in great condition, but no flowers. Does anyone know how to get it to bloom again? I keep the blinds open now during the day, so it does get sun now. Thanks for any help. I really miss those flowers!

| hmmmm,
are the flowers fairly big? sounds like new guinea impatiens, and they need sun. (the regular impatiens are happier in the shade.) try sitting it outside in full sun. also, it's time to repot. potting soil loses all it's minerals after a year or so, so it's lucky you got so much growth for as long as you did. check out the roots. if they're getting tight, you need to move to a bigger container as well. they'd probably be happy w/ some plant food from time to time, too. good luck! paula.
