Favorite Dishwasher Product??

I am in happy land!! Hubby finally broke down and got me a dishwasher for Mothers Day. I am so excited!! I felt like I was the only woman in the world still washing dishes by hand. UGH! I hate it!

What do you think is the best brand of dishwasher detergent? I have no idea what to start using.

Well, I buy the ones that offer the best coupons. Lately that seems to be the Pamolive liquid for automatic dishwashers. They have one that smells like berries. Not that I do a whole lot of dishes around here... I run the thing about once a month. Paper plates kick butt!

once a month Atlanta Gal!
Wow, ours is going twice a day, completely stuffed.

I have to admit, I am the most spoiled woman when it comes to dishes. My dh use to do them, so we got a dishwasher as soon as we bought a home.

Well, I went to the store and thought I would start out with Sunlight detergent. It wasn't the cheapest and wasn't the most expensive. If I don't like how it works, I will up one to the next highest brand. I can tell already this is going to be a fussy purchase for me. I have to have a name brand laundry detergent and I can tell already I am going to have to have a name brand dishwashing detergent...lol

Now I saw those but wasn't sure about them. They were kind of expensive too. But I might be trying those next time if I don't have to scrape and rinse all the dishes. You guys just don't understand.....I wanna be able to eat and throw the dang things in the dishwasher. The less I have to handle dirty dishes, the happier I am! LOL GEESH...I HATE WASHING DISHES!!! LOL

I also use Cascade. What a nice thing for hubby to buy you! You will like it in the summer months when it is really too hot to wash dishes.

We only use Cascade. And sometimes I'll throw in a little Jet Dry for the water spots.

I buy the powder Electrosol by the bucket at Sam's Club.
Somtimes they have really good deals and you can stock up.
I also hate to do the dishes. I would just die without my dishwasher.

I really love Cascade orchard Splash in powder or liquid, but prefer liquid. It gives off a nice scent while doing the dishes. If I don't buy that I like Electrosol tablets, or power balls.
