Hey fellow lurkers
As you can see I do not post much. But I have been lurking and reading alot..
I would like to challenge all the other lurkers out there to not get caught up in all the "Drama" and to jump in and post.
I am very shy and if I can do it you can too.

My name is Bonnie, I am 35 years old.I am happily married for 16 years. no children, just a cute dog and a cat. I live in upstate N.Y. Work full time as a nurse aide in a nursing home. And I LOVE deal of day.

Well Bonnie I am becoming an exlurker it would seem. I don't get involved in the controversy I have two many problems in real life. I work in a factory making the plastic refrigerator door I have been there for 17 years. I am married have been for 26 years we have 3 grown kids. And 3 grandchildren 2 of which I have custody of which is a long story. Starting to raise kids again has taking some getting used to.

Hi Bonnie and welcome, glad you could join us on the boards. It's nice to have new people chatting with us. I've always considered myself shy as well, although people beg to differ. They say I'm very outgoing. Maybe I just haven't noticed the change over the years. The best way to do it is to jump right in, get your feet wet as the old saying goes. It won't hurt, it's painless and alot of fun! My reign as Member of the Week ends today so you see there is a goal for you to strive for.

Hey everyone, I'll admit it - I'm definitely guilty of lurking!! I guess I'm just lazy and it's much easier to read what you all write than to post myself (lol). Okay well I'm going to introduce myself and then I'll try to post more! My name is Colleen, and I'm 16 - soon to be a junior in high school. (woohoo - an upperclassman!!) I'm kinda nervous right now because in a week I'm going to a month long camp! I've never been away from home and my friends for that long. The program is called Summer Ventures in Science and Mathematics, and it will be at Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, North Carolina. I'll be going to a class called "Mathematics and Problem Solving." YAWN LOL although this sounds really dorky, I actually do like math and it should be fun because I'll be staying in a dorm with a roommate, going kayaking, hiking, swimming, and things like that. Okay well that's enough for now, talk to you guys again soon!
