Color of Purses??

Ok, i"m one of those who changes the color of the purse and style according to the season....

Right now, I have a light beige color. In the winter, a dark brown or black.. Anyone else worry about their purse??

I use different purses all the time, depending on what I'm wearing. I have several black purses, dark brown, light brown, a beige one, a red one and a purple. I love them!

I used to do that all the time BK (before kids ) but I could never found the time after having kids. Actually when they were younger, there would be times when I'd be lucky to even FIND my purse, let alone change the color to match my outfit!!

But now that my kids are older, I do change periodically. I just have so much junk I carry around with me that it's a pain to change often!

i've got a black Coach train bag, and it's all i ever use. well, i do have a couple little clutch purses for balls and other black tie events. i should be more stylish, i know. but that purse is great. and who can afford them in different colors?? (you'd feasibly use the differing colors in differing seasons, therefore have less wear, and they'd all last longer. but, god, i'm hardly able to keep that one semi-organized. if i had to switch my stuff around? forget it!! )

(raising my hand) I change my pocketbooks with the season too. I'm still from the "old school" ....wear white AFTER Memorial Day through Labor Day.
I just swicthed over to my "summer bag". It's a raspberry macrame' shoulder bag. I usally wear a navy or brown in the fall/winter.

Nope - it's the same purse year round (I usually buy a new one every year) but basically it's always black.

But most of the time I throw my purse stuff into a small diaper bag when going shopping or something - so I have somewhere to put sippy cups.

I have two all purpose purses.. one is black and one is brown. I wear them to work, but in the summer, I put em both in the closet and get out my Guatemalan woven backpack my friend brought me from Central America about 5 years ago. I couldn't imagine a summer without it!

I have tons of purses, I collect them Like I do shoes. I only use one 'though at a time, a black leather one right now that fits my cell phone, candy for snacks, makeup, wallet etc. etc. I used to have to match my purse to my shoes. I was real anal about it. Not anymore.

Only black here too. And, I too, buy a new one every couple of years. The last two have been Fossil purses. They are more but then since it is the only one I carry I definitely get enough wear out of one to justify the expense.

LV-Louis Vuitton-small satchel. Wore large satchel for years, switched to small 2 years ago. With strap. I'm nutz! This is like an approx. $400.00 bag. But I like it! OK... so I have a good watch and a good purse. lol

I use the same purse all yr. Right now I'm using a black leather one my parents got me for my last birthday. I only have 3 other purses but I tend to buy more pricier leather ones that last. Besides my black one I have A SaddleRiver purse i got when I graduated highschool in "89", it's a pretty paisley print in browns abd hunter green and burgandy. I have a nice taupe color Liz and also a hunter green Dooney & Bourke. They are all classic styles so they are always in, In my opinion anyway.

For heaven's sake woman, I about fell off my chair!! my dh has a fit when I buy a new one yearly for about $12 at Walmart!!!

LOL... forgot to mention one li'l fact... it's the ONLY purse I ever use, no matter where I go. The older bigger one was used for about 5 years. This new one (smaller) is on it's 2nd year. These purses by LV can take much abuse... lol
