Maybe when you move to Richmond you can get a new policy anyhow since I doubt you'll be able to transfer your PA policy.

| What's the matter? Are you having a bad week? Really sorry to hear that, hope things get better for you soon! It's really a b**tch to lose health insurance. Just a suggestion, some of the hospitals have clinics for people without health coverage, and they base what they charge you on a sliding scale, depending upon your income. You could check with your local hospitals, and if they don't have such a place, perhaps they could probably recommend one for you. Does your town have a neighborhood clinic? Good luck! |

You might want to check out an interim policy with a private company. They have policies for people between jobs just for short periods of time, and they're not outrageously expensive because of the short term nature of the contract. Go through an agency that handles many companies as opposed to a specific agent for a specific company. Good luck Blue, that's a scary situation to be in!
