Couldn't have been Scottish now could it have..... No, it had to be Irish..... could have helped you BUT it is the wrong country for me! LOL!

Actually if you got to cata's link the Barm Brack is good and the Bannock recipe looks like a good one. If you can't find the candied citron for the Barm Brack, the Irish baker who comes to the games just uses what ever candied citris fruit he can find. Some times it may be oranges or lemons, even pineapple. BUT both of those looked good and easy. Good Luck sweetie!

Corned beef and cabbage. Buy corned beef and cabbage and cook it in a pot until cabbage is done.

this was just a project for a girl scout group...each one was supposed to bring something from a different country....they ended up doing irish soda bread (with currants) and oatcakes. there was a lady there who was from ireland and she said they tasted just like they did back home so chellem called to say wahooooooooo! when they made them, they thought the oatcakes were made wrong but they werent!

If it was for adults, I'd reccomend Guiness stew... Here's the ingredients...

A whole lotta Guiness Stout
A pot to put it in
A straw to sip with
AC/DC blaring in the background as you get totally blitzed man!!!!
