 Poll: Have you heard of this song?
In the Games forum, I posted the lyrics to a song, and everyone was having a horrible time coming up with the title and the artist. Lightning got it, but had to use a reference book and several clues before she did. Once the answer was posted, people said they had never heard of it or the group that performed it. The song was #33 on the charts for the year 1971. The song is: 1900 Yesterday by Liz Damon's Orient Express Have you heard of it? Please vote! I can't believe I'm the only one who knows this song. I have a 45 of it..........

Pip, Just played the song for Roger.....and.....omg...... He has heard it before!!!!!!!!!!!!! He doesn't know it by title or artist, but he has heard the song!!!!!! Must be an "old folks" thing.....heehee... Roger is 51

I looked it up, thought I might know it as I was about 12 at the time  All I could find was a midi to listen to, no vocals and it isn't familiar to me!

I downloaded it from Napster when it was still working, but I have since looked it up on Morpheus. It shows up there every now and then. It's a nice song, don't you think? Soft Rock/Easy Listening genre. |
