We lost a friend today.....

A young man that was so close to my family, a young man 19 years old!, a young man who picked Hershey out and named him for us when we bought him for Sarah's Christmas present, a young man named John L. Branan, a young man named Logan to us, killed today by a drunk driver.....we loved him and will miss him always...

One of five teenagers, one of four dead...one of five passengers in a car hit by a drunk driver...Logan, we will miss you always...a young man with a baby on the way....Logan, you will be in our hearts always...

A young man hit and killed by a drunk driver today, gone forever, in our thoughts today and always, we love him and miss him...please say a prayer for his family and remember to NEVER drink and drive....

geez.... I'm so sorry to hear this... When I was 16, A good friend of mine got wasted on drugs and commited suicide, driving into a tree... Another good friend was the first firefighter on the scene... Thank god nobody else was hurt.... I hate hearing about kids dying like this when I've taken many road trips in my day, and being 26, have survived them all... Why do I live now??? I guess God has a plan for everyone... They are probably in a better world now...

OMG Kriss, Bill, Sarah and Sadie..I am sooo very sorry to hear (read) this. I am sitting here bawling because of the hurt you all are going thru and the fact these young kids were taken this morning (Sunday morning). I for once am at a real loss for words. I want to say a lot, yet, I don't want to at the same time. Knowing you Kriss you are on an emotional roller coaster right now..anger..sadness..just battling it out at the same time. My prayers, thoughts and anything else that may bring you the slightest comfort is yours. I know you're doing the best you can at comforting Terry, my prayers and thoughts to him as well as John's (Logan's) family. If you need to talk babe..I'm here. Again..I am so sorry. Thanks everyone. I just can't seem to quit crying..

When I talk of my son Terry, well, he was my neighbor's son and we took him in, he always had a place to go....a lost boy....he had several friends that were also some of today's lost youth, boys that's parents had given up on them or just walked away....Logan was special, in foster homes because his mom just wasn't there for him.....he baked cookies with my kids, cut wood for me when Bill was at work...played with Sadie, was kind to Sarah when the other boys teased her....and the pictures he could draw.....God, I miss him.....

Oh this is such a sad thing to have happen. It is heart wrenching for everyone even though we don't know these kids or their families. We all have been in this situation or dread that we might one day go through it. I am really sorry you've lost someone dear to you. Will be thinking of you and praying for these teens and those grieving for them.
