Does anyone here play their states lottery or Powerball? I have a fun idea!

We might have to start doing this in the games forum but for now I just wanted to see what you all think about this.
What do you think about starting a weekly DOD Lottery Number Picking Party?
Each week, I will pick one member to pick out two sets of numbers between such and such and we can all play those numbers for that week in whatever lottery we want, whether it be your state lottery, Powerball or both. You can pick one set and play it or you can play both sets if the numbers will fit in the sequence of your states available numbers. Then each week, we can all come back to the thread and post any wins. It would be interesting to see if anyone hits the big one or how many wins come from each state, are certain numbers likely to be picked more than others, who wins the most each week, etc.

If enough are interested in participating, I will set it up. I'd need an idea of how many numbers are available to pick from in different states and when your drawings are. Like in Missouri Lotto, the numbers are 1-44. Powerball is 1-49. Our lottery drawings here in Missouri are on Wednesdays and Saturdays. So I could play the same numbers twice in the same week if I wanted. If we can get some idea of the different states numbers and drawings, we can have each person pick between a certain set of numbers each week and we could all play the same numbers and see what comes out of it. Just for the heck of it!

Louisiana is in the same PowerBall with Missouri so our amount of numbers would also be 1-49 .

Our lotto is numbers 1-40...

Would be nice if we could all hit a big Jack pot

Powerball: 5 numbers between 1-49 & 1 number between 1-42

Ok...got another question....do we want to pick one set of numbers and play them for both of the drawings for the week or have someone pick a different set for each drawing of the week? Doesn't matter to me.

I'm going to move this into the Games forum here in a bit. I'll post the link here. I think it would be too much of a hassle to keep it in this forum and try keep track of it.

Hey...I never thought of that. Bright side is, maybe they would fly us all together to be presented with the checks! LOL YAY!
