 10 years ago today. Please read, I have a favor to ask..... 10 years ago today, in the wee hours of the morning a miracle came into my life. The path to this miracle was a long and hard one. 10 years ago today after many hours of undue labor (long story for another thread, some other time), I was rushed into an operating room, to have an event take place that would change my life. In a cold and brightly lit room with many doctors around an unknown joy came to me. 10 years ago today, a bright light, brighter than any operating room came into the world. 10 years ago today, my sweet son Laurens was born. I look back at the days before Laurens and Alex (yeah, Brian too  ) were with me and I wonder how I was ever able to make it without them. How complete and happy I truly am. My life is whole. OH sure, they drive me nuts sometimes, but the loss of any one of them would truly be my breaking point. 10 years ago today, I had no idea how fast 10 years would fly by.Laurens in the years to come, as you grow and leave me to begin your adult life, always remember the things that mean the most to me. Your big hugs, sweet Butterfly kisses, your smile, those big brown eyes that melt my heart and most of all God allowing me to have you. You are my first boy, the first light of my life, my first true love. Today on your 10th Birthday, I know this all seems so sappy to you, but one day I want you to look back on this, and know you are loved for always and forever, no matter what. My friends, please help me wish my sweet boy Laurens a Happy 10th Birhday.

Oh Becky, your story made me tear up too. Those years fly by sooo fast. Happy 10th Birthday Laurens. You finally hit the double digits!
