Can you really love a stranger as a friend?

This sounds so corny to me. But my sister met a guy online and says she loves him as a friend. Now, he also seems to be going through the "same Problems" as her so that's why their friendship is so great I guess. But in my opinion, tell me what your problem is and if I really wanted a relationship I could develop the same problem you have for your sympathy and understanding. Sounds like a con to me. I know, I've posted before and many of you told me you actually had relationships work out online, but come on, can you love someone you have never met? Did you ever think you'd meet and they'd be a geek or a mass murderer? Jeez I just can't understand my sister and it's driving me crazy.

With all the nuts in thw world, i would be leary as well........I know there are good relationships that have formed, but I still think that is the exception and not the rule......that or I have watched too many 20/20 and nightline episodes. I hope things work out well for your sis.
