| Great news!!! For those of you who read my post in the prayer request forum.....Here I am with the good news!!! Hubby accepted the job!! The best part is that we will still be able to take our vacation that we had planned for Dec. He will most likely start after Christmas!! And for my favorite thing ....he will be working about 2 minutes from home(literally)....so since we have only 1 car....I can start taking him to work!!! Yes....free at last!!!LOL![]()

| Sounds like a "great" thing all the way around !!! CONGRATULATIONS!!! I wish Flash worked close to home, he drives about 45 minutes one way... But he "likes" his job, and the guys he works with! ![]() |

| Congratulations!!!! I am glad that everything worked out for the best! Working close to home is such a time saver too. People don't realize how much time is wasted driving and fighting traffic. Also, less wear and tear on the car. ![]() |

| M2M..I can totally understand you being happy about having some added freedom. We've always had 2 vehicles (or more), but DH drive 45 minutes to work. There have been those days when he has needed to take my car for some reason or another and I swear..it's like I'm a caged animal or something. Even on the days I knew I wasn't going to be going any where! LOL! I HAVE to know my car is at my disposal 24/7. LOL! Also, when he takes my car, he'll run it until the low fuel light comes on and pull it back into the garage w/o giving it a second thought to putting gas in it. Totally ticks me off! It seems this happens when 1 or more of the kids will miss the bus the next morning. Thankfully there's a small service station I can stop at if need be, but it's the principle! Not to mention it means I actually have to put on decent clothes (including shoes) just to drop them off at school! LOL!
