Accidents are scarry as is .. let alone to have the other driver take off

but in the same breath, you and your son are safe !!!

You weren't "allowed" to wait for AAA? Really? I'll have to remember that, you can turn in the charges tho can't you and be reimbursed for the tow? I hope so, every little bit helps.
It does seem like when $$ is tight, if it can happen..it will. LOL!

I'm sorry to hear about your accident, but am glad to hear that you & your son are fine. Please do check with AAA - I know they reimbursed my MIL when she had an accident and the police towed her car without waiting for AAA's tow truck to show up.

Hopefully they'll be able to catch the other driver. Having someone hit you right before the holidays is bad enough without having to pay out all the costs yourself because the other driver couldn't be bothered to stop.
